Dial-a-Ride is a service operating throughout Hampshire. The County Council partly subsidises the Bishop’s Waltham Minibus Group to provide this service locally.
The Dial-a-Ride service is on Friday mornings and collects individuals from their homes in Bishop's Waltham, outlying villages and rural areas, bringing them into Bishop’s Waltham and then returning them home again.
The service is primarily for the elderly or disabled. There is a regular drop off point at the Bishop’s Waltham Surgery.
The minibus operates without an escort, so passengers should be able to get in and out of the bus unassisted, unless prior arrangements are made.
There is a standard charge of £2 for the return journey.
See the Contacts page for details on how to book a trip.
