Bishop's Waltham Minibus Group
The Bishop’s Waltham Minibus Group provides transport for charitable organisations and affiliated groups in Bishop’s Waltham and surrounding parishes, and to aged or disabled individuals.
The minibus has 14 passenger seats and can take wheelchair passengers.
Regular services are provided for lunch clubs in Bishop’s Waltham and dial-a-ride services from surrounding areas into Bishop's Waltham every Friday and to Hedge End Sainsbury's shopping centre on the first Tuesday and third Wednesday of each month.
Group outings can be booked for times when the bus is available. Find out more about hiring the minibus.
The drivers and escorts are all volunteers.
Although the running costs of the minibus are covered by the fees charged, the replacement buses require comprehensive fundraising.
We hold several fundraising Events through the year. Our next event is our Summer Swingtime Concert with Ocean Brass on Saturday 6th June at the Jubilee Hall
The Group has a long history, having been founded in 1983. The continuous demand for minibus services will assure a long future for the Group. The Group has a formal Constitution. There are also a number of Documents for drivers and members.
